Maine caught Monkfish cooked in a lobster stock with Maine grown potatoes, carrots, onion, and cream creating n -easy-to-eat meal that is rich, complex, and filling.
The Stew comes in heat and serve, 16 oz pouches that can be easily heated in a pot of simmering water and served right out of the bag.
Maine Coast Monkfish Stew is a project of the Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association (MCFA), a non-profit dedicated to promoting sustainable fisheries in the Gulf of Maine. The Stew is produced using sustainably harvested monkfish caught by small-boat Maine fishermen.
All proceeds from the Stew benefit MCFA’s Fishermen Feeding Mainers program (FFM). The FFM program purchases fish directly from fishermen for donation to schools, food banks, and community groups working to address food insecurity. To date, this program has donated over 320,000 meals to those in need.

Ingredients: Red potatoes, water, heavy cream (40%), monkfish, carrots, celery, whole milk, onion, lobster stock, butter, dry sherry, spice, paprika, parsley, cayenne, salt.
