Maine Steamer Clams
Traditional clams for a Maine lobster bake! These sweet and delicious soft shell clams are perfect as an appetizer or as a main course. Serving size approximately 1 lb per person.
Put 1″ of water in a stock pot with a sprinkle of salt. Steam for 3 minutes or until the shells open.
These can be kept for 3-4 days in the refrigerator uncovered. DO NOT ICE. Once cooked the clams can be shucked and meat frozen indefinitely.
