Norumbega Oysters


Norumbega Oysters are bottom grown in the Damariscotta River just down the road from our market.  Harvested by scuba divers these oysters have  a fine smooth texture and a great brine flavor.


These can be eaten raw or cooked in several ways.  Fabulous grilled or broiled.

Leni hint:  After you have eaten the raw oyster put a splash of your favorite bourbon or whiskey in the shell.  The brine from the oyster combines with the whisky for a truly amazing experience.


When you receive your oysters you can keep them on ice in your refridgerator or cooler for up to 14 days.
